Nusantara Polo Club "A World Class Polo Oasis in Indonesia"
Indonesia, a nation consisting of over 13,000 islands on the South East Asian equator is now also home to a world-class polo club named Nusantara Polo Club. Built on the vision of Bapak Hashim Djojohadikusumo and Bapak Prabowo Subianto, Nusantara Polo Club proves and shows that Indonesia is a nation capable of participating in the King of Games and the Game of Kings.
The recent surge in excitement of the Polo has also lead Indonesia, a nation with a deep history of polo dating back to 1937 with the Dutch settlement, to recently re-establish its Indonesian Polo Association - now a full member of the FIP - and form an alliance with Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunai Darusaalam and Phillipines to form a bi-annual polo tournament in South East Asia. After being absent from the South East Asian Games (SEA Games) for 18 years, polo was once again played in the 2007 Thailand SEA Games and will be played in the upcoming 2011 Indonesia SEA Games - taking place at Nusantara Polo Club.
Nusantara Polo Club invites all equestrian, polo and sport enthusiast around the world to visit and rejoice in a game of Polo at Nusantara Polo Club. Those who would like to come just for a ride are also welcomed. Nusantara Polo Club welcomes experienced, beginners and everyone with little or no riding experience.
