The Tour de Singkarak 2009 is the biggest bicycle race in Indonesia that will cover more than 459 kilometers through beautiful cities and lakes in West Sumatera. Running from Wednesday April 29th to Sunday May 3rd 2009, the Tour de Singkarak 2009 will be made up of 4 stages: Padang-Bukittingi (92.3 kms), Bukittinggi-Sawahlunto (85.1 kms), Sawahlunto-Lake Singkarak (90.2 kms), Lake Singkarak-Lake Kembar-Lake Singkarak (188 kms), and award a total prize money of US$60,000. The Tour will surely attract cyclists from home and around the world.

Final arrival figures through the end of February 2009 are now in hand from immigration authorities at Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport that confirm that while Bali is enjoying a record strong start to 2009, it may also be sitting at the crest of a cimminent downturn. January-February arrivals totaled 304,013 - a 3.05% improvement over the same two months in 2008 (295,025).

It was called Sate Ayam Sokaraja (Sokaraja chicken roasted meat) before, but because there were so many people that used the same name, therefore now it was called "Sate Ayam Sinar Jaya Sokaraja". |
